Yoshihara Junji, or "Jun", is a man with a sharp tongue and sharper wit to precede it. He is cunning in both action and word, which does well to hide a part of himself that he refuses to acknowledge. His longer hair is a dull auburn, matted to a near brown, yet in many ways still mimics the dull orange of a fox's pelt. His eyes are a welcoming blue which hide the fire that wells within. He has a kind, handsome face that invites interaction, and a body that is lean but tone.Jun appears to also have various markings along his back like faint tattoos or the like.Jun is someone who, despite everything he has been through, shows a kindness and gentleness that is ultimately unwarranted. He welcomes new souls and stands up for those who seem to be put down by others because he knows what it feels like to be put in that position, and is willing to back his beliefs up with his body and soul, often relying on "combat" to be a last resort. If prompted, Jun can be fierce, crafty, and confident with a style that does not solely rely on the fangs that have been barred, but also his swift cunning to constantly raise the bar.

Jun owns and runs a teahouse called "Fox's Den Teahouse" that he bought using money he obtained from his late godfather. Never really the studious type, he decided that school was not for him, and instead went straight into the business of selling tea and coffee at the age of eighteen. However, around that time, he got into a fight with a rowdy customer and, to his surprise, showed much more prowess than what he thought capable. His movements were quick and responsive, and he had more control over his body than before. He felt nimble and cunning, like a fox. This was the awakening of his Fox Spirit. He realized that he was a reincarnation of an ancient spirit animal who was condemned to live with humans for the rest of their days. He writes the dreams he has of his past lives, at least what little he remembers, into a journal that he keeps. Many of the incarnations, he realizes, never break a seal or realize what they are. Some do so unintentionally, others purposefully - but none have managed to break them all.
He wishes to change that.

Beneath the Seals that Bind

Junji's power is locked behind divine seals which lock him from the pillars of earth, sky, and sea; the base elements of the world. These seals may unlock through various storylines over long periods of time. The seals may also unlock with various interactions or relationships he has and forms with others.

First Layer Limiter: Divine Seal of the Nine-Headed Hydra
Junji is unable to access nearly any of his original power. His physical ability and magical potential are extremely diminished. These seals in many cases prevent him from developing strength through outside means, naturally or not. Junji will need to break seals to regain his strength and acquire new strength.
One of nine heads is severed.

Traces of the Fount of Mercuria. Junji's connection to the divine realms of golden light, and the blessing he was born with. Junji's physical attributes are slightly enhanced above the normal levels of humans and humankind. The Divine Seals work to counter these effects.     Conjunction: Zephyr. The release of the first head of the hydra allows Jun to utilize various novice forms of wind magics.Martial Ability: Ascendant Taekwondo. Junji's previous incarnations developed and mastered this version of Taekwondo during their time in the mortal realm as a form of discipline. Junji does not know why he inherited these skills, but he retains their memory. The concept focuses on mastering the base forms of Taekwondo to further improve his flexibility, range of motion, cunning, and overall power through focused strikes.Breakthrough: Rising Fox Spirit - Base. Junji fights against the binding seals to access a fragment of the power beneath the seals. This increase in power has diminishing returns over time and the power is only at its fullest the moment in which he activates it. If not done so with extreme care, it can damage Junji more than it can help due to his body not being adjusted to the newfound power.

Once there was a great Jade Emperor who ruled over the heavenly realms. The Emperor decided that with the idea of the passage of time, there would be symbols to represent them. He decided that the greatest of animals would act as those symbols. These symbols were known as "Zodiacs". Amongst those chosen to become a Zodiac animal by the Emperor, the Fox was one. Happy to be one of few, he sought to rise above the rest. The placements of the symbols were chosen through a swimming race - and the Fox, fur white as snow with his confidence and nine tails in tow -- the representation of his boundless wisdom and willingness to grow -- he believed he could win a spot, one of twelve total. And so he trained and trained until he grew tired, swam and swam until his legs grew weary.Yet where some used strength and ability, or speed and deceit, the Fox used his practice and confidence which he bore, yet he could not outfox the Mouse or Cat as they managed to convince the Ox to carry them across. The Tiger, on the other hand, was strong enough that the currents would sweep him away. The Dragon, of course, soared above, but as he crossed the lake, he helped the Rabbit, who sat on a log, across. The Horse rode around the lake with great speed with a Snake coiled around his hoof. The Goat, Monkey, and Rooster joined arms and made a raft to row across. The Dog was so versed in the art of swimming that he had fun before winning his spot. Before the Fox knew it, there were no more spots. All twelve, so it seemed, were filled. The world was spinning. The Fox's legs grew tired. Then he ran into a Cat -- the same Cat that was on the Ox! "That blasted Rat," the Cat said, "He knew I couldn't swim." And here, the Fox showed compassion. "Hurry on", the Fox said, "Just a bit more!" The Fox lifted the Cat so he could catch his breath. And so they swam together. Happy, he thought, he made a friend in strife, yet toward the end the Cat showed the Fox what it learned from the Mouse. The Cat shoved the Fox down into the depths, kicked his stomach, and pushed himself to shore. As he sank, he realized he learned betrayal. He was swept by the Dragon, a kind creature that saw him dive down for longer than was comfortable. The Fox welcomed fresh air with a cough. The Cat finessed the final seat, and the Fox felt a fool. Shame and embarrassment rose along his pale-white fur, turning his pelt a vibrant red. How could he have fallen for such a trick? Then, as he turned to ask the Cat: "Why? Why would you do this to me?" the Cat smiled a sly smile and said: "No one plays fair if they think they can get away with it. And I did." Quickly, that pity was replaced with anger. Quickly, that anger was replaced with wrath. Rage."It's over, Fox. You are not one of us. You never will be."Red.A rage that caused his jaw to clamp on the stomach of the Cat, filling his mouth with blood for one. The Cat heaved a breath and begged the Fox to stop, and the Fox slashed against his ribs, exposing his flesh for two. The Cat was choking, alive once more so the Fox flung the body of the Cat against a tree, marking three, but still he breathes. The Fox soared into the air, pounced the small beast on the floor, and crunched on the Cat's skull for four. He tore the limbs from the Cat for five, yet he was still alive. For six the Fox pulled the Cat's tongue so it could no longer be sly. Seven and eight were vile lessons as he ate the Cat's flesh whole. Before the Fox could squeeze a ninth life from the Cat the Emperor pulled him afar. Instead of empathizing with the Fox and giving him the Cat's spot, which he felt he deserved, he gave the Fox a Seal. A seal for each life that the Fox had forced upon the Cat, and one more for good measure. With each seal added, a tail went away, and so too did his strength. His power waned, and his shame grew. After the Fox lost his strength, the Emperor had him Exiled to live with mankind without the tails he obtained, and without his story written. Now each Cat has Nine Lives to disgrace the Fox's name. And so the Fox learned its lesson. It learned to be cunning with his kindness to protect his heart in a world that lies. He learned to be sly to hide the anger deep inside. He learned never to trust because, that way, he could avoid the pain of betrayal. He learned to hide his pride behind a smile because the one time he proudly showed his fangs to defend himself and his beliefs, instead of being rewarded with validation he was rewarded with a cage.
